They’re just doodles – but the artists make these doodles special.
“Mad Men” star John Hamm, vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, and poet Maya Angelou are just a few of the famous Americans contributing doodles to this year’s College of Lake County Foundation Scholarship Gala auction.
The doodles are simple, framed drawings, including the artists’ signatures, and such drawings usually auction for $70 to $250 each, said CLC spokeswoman Diane Rarick.
