President Fail probably had it under advisement that BP had this thing licked so he hauled his ass to a press conference, went to the beach to pick up a few tarballs, waved his hand over the gulf, proclaimed to never ever stop until it's all sorted out, then buggered off to go on holiday/play golf/do some useless crap expecting that BP would call and say: "We plugged the damn hole"

Then President Fail would have got up, organised a quick press conference, proclaimed victory, drowned himself in his own smug-assed attitude, then buggered off again.

Of course all eyes would then be diverted to other useless crap by the media. However, it failed. As long as this things spews forth, he looks less and less like the man-god some would have you believe he is and more and more like what he really is.

Things Fall Apart

A great little book by Chinua Achebe that I read in school as a youngster. It tells the tale of Okonkwo and has some parallels to President Bozo with his hubris, his pride, and failure to listen. He too will hang himself (metaphorically of course).

Looking at things today, it won't be long before the center can no longer hold. One of the liberal media heads will eventually sense an opportunity to tear in Bozo'z regime. They're all slowly shuffling towards the line, one of them will lunge. Then let's see what happens when they do - and what part Sarah plays in it...cue CNN?

I'm a supporter and I believe in her. I think that the term 'fan' is being used by the left to add to the meme that Sarah is merely a celebrity - like those throwaway wastes of space in hollywood.

I am also also no longer a fan of a whole bunch of people from Hollywood for their blatantly hateful views of Sarah. I don't buy their stuff, listen or watch their stuff, or pay any attention to anything they do - they may as well be dead. I do note that BP appears to have 3 new Plan B's that are untested at the depths they're trying to fix the leak at.

My thinking is that they should plug the leak with liquid nitrogen - it appears to be quite cold down there at any rate so make a big ice block to cover it all.

I'm thinking there has to come a time when Sarah will have to stop referring to the MSM as the LSM - like it or not, she is going to have to work with them at some point and not slap them around.

The anniversary of Sarah's resignation announcement isn't that far away. I think those on the left thought they had her nailed. Come to think of it, I remember many Sarah supporters thinking OMG !! What's she doing?

Think about what things were like a year ago and compare them to now and it's clear she did the right thing and she will continue to do the right thing.

One thing I have noticed over time though is that I think she has taken some losses on the surface - but these will come back to the fold when she seeks their support so I'm not worried about that.

Imagine if Sarah was VP now and McCain was POTUS...I think he'd suck really bad at being POTUS and he'd drag her down with him. This way, she's free of his legacy (I hope he loses his senate seat personally) and she knows who to trust (and distrust) and she can determine her own destiny.
